Role

John Sykes is the Fund Controller and is responsible for fund financial services including accounting, investor reporting, and treasury management. 

Experience

Before joining SIH, John was an Associate Fund Controller at Carta, a leading fund administrator specializing in venture capital. John led a fund accounting team that managed a variety of unique fund structures, ensuring real-time accuracy and reflection of accounting data for all clients. Prior to that, he served as an Associate Vice President at Rimrock Capital Management, a fixed-income hedge fund, responsible for all fund accounting and operational tasks.

Education

John received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
